Prophetic character, morals, and ethics are fundamental to Islam and a means to earn salvation in this world and the next. We often focus on learning the outward sunnahs of ritual worship, without also prioritizing the Inward Sunnahs - how to reflect Muhammadan beauty in our marriages, families, communities, workplaces, and society at large.
CONTENT OF CHARACTER was a 2-day CelebrateMercy program held on January 26 to 28 at the Maryam Islamic Center, Houston. Shaykh Ubaydullah Evans, Ustadha Hosai Mojaddidi, Shaykh Yasir Fahmy and Shaykh Adeyinka Mendes explored over 12 beautiful Hadiths that should help to shape every Muslim's personal, family, and social life by following the exalted character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In between the inspiring lessons, we enjoyed devotional songs about the Prophet ﷺ by world-renowned munshid Nader Khan.
The program was attended by over 500 people, including people from across North America and some friends from Europe.
